Fundraising

Fundraising is an important component of the work of our PTA. It takes about $22,000 per year to provide programs to our kids. Here are some examples of costs: Arts and Education ($9,000), Science Assemblies ($2,000), PARP ($2,000), Sprout Creek ($800), Building related Mini Grants ($500), Wellness and Testing Treats ($1,500), Student Appreciation ($1,800), and Staff Appreciation ($400) to name just a few.

To fund these activities, we have fundraisers thoughout the school year, including:

  • Annual Craft Fair: Celebrating our 29th year- Sunday, November 20, 2011
  • Joe Corbi Fundraiser (October)
  • Barnes and Noble Book Fair (December)
  • Book Fair (April)
  • Mothers Day Plant Sale (May)
  • Spirit and Pride (School t-shirts etc..)
  • Funding Factory: recycling cell phones and printer cartridges
  • Box Tops for Education: (we support student council in collection
    of box tops)

Straight donations are ALWAYS appreciated, as the money directly benefits our children.
